Summary

Develop the capability to apply failure mode and effects analysis within the design and process environments of the organisation.

Ideal for those with no previous experience, this course explains the core principles behind FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis).

Failure modes are the ways in which a process can fail. Effects are the ways that these failures can lead to waste, defects or harmful outcomes for the customer. FMEA is designed to identify, prioritise and limit these failure modes.

We recommend that you attended Introduction to Structured Problem Solving using Lean Sigma before attending this course.
