BEST APPRENTICE CERTIFICATE

The certificate will be awarded to the top-ranking apprentice in any year who is enrolled on an approved IMechE advanced or modern engineering apprenticeship scheme. One certificate is available for each approved scheme.

Eligibility

The nominee must be enrolled on an advanced or modern engineering apprenticeship scheme and based in the United Kingdom.

Award conditions

  • The award is made each academic year on the recommendation of the college tutor or training provider.
  • The certificate is for the ‘Best Apprentice’ on any year of an approved IMechE advanced or modern engineering apprenticeship scheme.
  • One certificate is available for each approved scheme.

Award criteria

  • Nominees must be able to demonstrate high achievement in practical and/or academic skills.
  • Charity or voluntary work, especially any related to engineering and encouraging young people into engineering will also be taken into consideration.

Application process

Closing date: 30 September 2023.

Applications can be submitted throughout the year by completing the application form, which includes submission details.
